My Story

In San Diego, California in 2001 Kelly Fritz started La Di Da Sugaring and medical spa. She recently made the tough decision to sell her business and move closer to her family in Charlotte and leave her beloved clients and coworkers behind. She is very excited to be in Charlotte. Skin Guru is the new iteration of her business. At Skin Guru she focuses on her customers experience, results driven skincare and your satisfaction as a client. Years ago, in her early twenties, Kelly had a terrible experience getting a bikini wax and vowed that she could do better. Kelly started out her career in esthetics in April 2000 in Pacific Beach focusing on sugaring. Her career has taken her from the beach to Hillcrest to downtown San Diego and eventually to Coronado where she owned her own spa from 2006-2010, with her business partner and best friend, Mailette. She then owner and operated her own spa until 2021. Kelly has been performing sugaring hair removal and skincare her entire career. Most recently she shifted to facials and skincare only, although she wouldn’t mind doing a brow or lip for you during her your facial. She sold La Di Da after 20+ years and now works in the Southpark area.

Her passion is providing results through her facials for her clients. She specialized in many modalities and offers pretty much any treatment you can dream of for your skin, except medical injections such as botox and fillers and medical procedures. She offers microdermabrasion, hydra facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, acne facials, anti aging facials, etc…  She excels in helping those with acne conditions and anyone who wants to correct sun damage and signs of aged skin, such as hyper-pigmentation and fine lines. She has personally reversed her own sun damage and knows how to get results. After working on skin tones of all ethnicities that were damaged by the California sun, she is an expert at sun damage! A guru if you will.
